We found our own wall in China! This is the City Wall in Old Dalí, in Yunnan Province, in extreme southwestern China. We explored the old city on foot, rented bicycles to visit the oldest Buddhist temples in the region, had a 15-course Tibetan meal complete with yak meat, spent a day visiting a local market and trekking through the mountains, and tried our hand at negotiating in Chinese!
