Spring in the mountains of Japan -- rain, cherry blossoms, more rain, tulips and daffodils, and snow on the Japanese Alps. During our last port visit of this voyage, we enjoyed a leisurely walk through the Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, and the historic streets of Takayama, a quick dip in an outdoor onsen, and evenings in traditional ryokans and minshukus.
