Greetings from our "Spring Break" in Mauritius….land of lovely chocolate crepes, the beautiful blue water of the Indian Ocean, snorkeling, snorkeling, and more snorkeling! Actually, we also managed to learn a little about the interesting melange that is Mauritian culture - Hindu temples, Creole fishing villages, and the infamous extinction of the Dodo bird. We also shocked some students by taking them to a textile factory just outside of our port of call, Port Louis. Perhaps most importantly, Dean finally got to cook!
